| 1 | 学部専門科目（春学期のInternational Institutuions and Global Governance、秋学期のInternational Relations in Asia）は、それぞれ履修者の半数が外国人留学生であるため、授業内でペアディスカッションの機会を多く設けて、日本人学生と外国人学生が直接英語で意見を交換しつつ、互いの見解から学べるように工夫した。3人以上のグループではなく、ペアとすることで、人前で英語を話すことが苦手意識を持つ日本人学生も、積極的に外国人学生と話すことになり、外国人学生の方も日本人学生の意見や思考に触れる機会が増え、これらの点が授業評価アンケートにおいても評価されていた。, 2024年度

| 2 | 学部3年生以上を対象とした学部選択必修科目International Institutions and Global Governanceの授業内で課している3回の英文1000wordsのエッセイを作成するに際し、履修学生にChatGPTを活用したエッセイ作成を求め、各学生が実際にどのようにChatGPTを活用してエッセイを作成したかを授業内でプレゼンテーションさせることで、academic integrityに適う創造的なChatGPTの活用方法を学生と教員がともに探求した。, 2023年度

| 3 | Three assessment exams during the semester.
Evaluation criteria are as follows:
(1) Knowledge & information 40%: Demonstrate you have learned adequate knowledge and information on a given issue by effectively using them to construct your arguments
(2) Logic 40%: Demonstrate your ability of constructing logical arguments by defending your conclusion with data and reasons
(3) Creativity 20%
Be provocative by challenging an established view.
Be critical by carefully examining facts.
Be interested in an unknown or unfamiliar case.
Be confident of your own ideas and findings.
Late submission of the final paper will result in 10 points discount on your grade., 2021年度

| 4 | In my undergraduate lecture class, students engage in a pair work a lot so that they have many chances to express and exchange their understanding and opinions on the issues discussed in the class sessions.
